Chris Redrup visited the site today and has confirmed the access is acceptable for getting to the ‘square’ with a two wheel drive family car. With little or no further rain forecast before Saturday the Gala will proceed as scheduled.
Chris has given the following advise:-
After turning into the entrance off the B390, keep to the left of the main track, where the rut will be filled with timber and sand bags to allow easy crossing for standard cars.
When driving up the slope to the grass area, keep to the right side, and bear right at the top rather than follow the muddy track, then follow the markers.”
